I’m still working on this website, have finally chosen a website development package, WordPress. I’ve tried a few other packages, but all were either too difficult with little support or closely bound to web hosting that I did not want to be stuck with. With WordPress I can host the website on my own equipment and they also have very in-depth support. Again, this is taking way too much effort!

I think that what you said was very reasonable. But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier title? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a post title to maybe get people’s attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You should look at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create news headlines to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
